This role oversees daily accounting operations, including managing journal entries, reviewing general ledger activity, and ensuring timely month-end and year-end closing. The Accounting Manager prepares and analyzes financial statements, monitors fixed assets records, and supports budgeting and forecasting processes. The role includes supervising accounting staff, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations. The Accounting Manager also contributes to process improvements, implements internal controls, and provides clear financial reports to management. Qualifications • Strong financial reporting skills, including preparation and review of financial statements and related reports. • Ability to manage and execute journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and core accounting processes. • Solid understanding of finance principles and their application in budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. • Experience in fixed assets accounting, including tracking, depreciation, and reconciliations. • Advanced analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support decision-making. • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) are a plus. • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop accounting teams, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to maintaining accurate and compliant records. • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across different functions.
