Raban Al Safina Group Raban Al Safina for Energy Projects Managing Director (MD) Electrical Power & Megaprojects Raban Al Safina for Energy Projects is seeking a Managing Director to lead its electrical power business and the execution of major energy projects, combining technical delivery, operational leadership and commercial responsibility. Key Responsibilities • Direct company strategy, business performance, investment priorities and the electrical power project portfolio. • Lead project delivery from development and engineering through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover. • Govern interfaces between plant systems, grid connection, contractors, equipment manufacturers and project stakeholders. • Control project budgets, schedules, risks, changes and quality, with clear accountability for safe execution. • Lead commercial strategy, tendering, contract negotiation, partner relationships and financial performance. • Build capable project and operations leadership teams and report progress, forecasts and material risks to group leadership. Requirements • Proven executive leadership in an electrical power or energy projects company. • Personal leadership responsibility for delivering multiple electrical power projects, with evidence of execution through commissioning or handover. • Direct experience with large, complex projects or megaprojects and multidisciplinary engineering and construction interfaces. • Strong operational and business management capability, including profit and loss, contracts, cash flow and customer relationships. • Ability to resolve technical and commercial delivery issues and manage major contractors and equipment suppliers. • Sound understanding of power generation or electrical infrastructure systems and the associated operational readiness requirements.
