Accounts Payable Supervisor (P2P)

Position: Accounts Payable Supervisor (P2P) Location: Erbil Job Summary: We're looking for an experienced AP Supervisor to lead our Procure-to-Pay team and own the end-to-end AP process, from invoice processing to payments to reconciliations. Job Description: • Lead, coach, and manage a team of AP Accountants/Specialists • Own the full P2P cycle: invoice matching, approvals, postings, and payments • Oversee reconciliations (vendor balances, AP sub-ledger vs. GL) and resolve discrepancies • Review month-end accruals, prepayments, and journal entries • Be the key liaison between AP, procurement, suppliers, and internal stakeholders • Drive process improvements across the P2P workflow Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field • 5+ years in Accounts Payable, including 1-2 years supervising a team • ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Odoo, or similar) • Strong reconciliation, GL accounting, and month-end close skills • Excellent communication skills and a track record of managing supplier relationships • Advanced Excel skills and sharp attention to detail • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
