Logistics Coordinator

Role Description The Logistics Coordinator is a full-time, hybrid role based in Baghdad, with the flexibility to perform some tasks from home. The role involves planning and coordinating daily shipments, tracking orders, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery to customers. The Logistics Coordinator will manage inventory records, update systems with shipment and stock data, and communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring supply chain activities, preparing reports, handling customer inquiries, and supporting continuous improvement of logistics processes. The role requires close attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and consistent follow-up to maintain smooth operations. Qualifications • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, monitor performance, and support decision-making. • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and customers, both verbally and in writing. • Candidates should possess solid Customer Service skills to handle inquiries, resolve delivery issues, and maintain positive client relationships. • Candidates should possess practical Inventory Management skills to track stock levels, reconcile records, and support accurate forecasting. • Candidates should possess foundational Supply Chain Management skills to understand end-to-end processes and coordinate shipments efficiently. • Additional beneficial qualifications include proficiency in MS Office or other logistics software, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in logistics or transportation operations.
