WE ARE HIRRING!! Position: HSE Specialist. About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HSE Specialist to join the Gilgamesh Oilfield Services team. Location: Basra, Iraq (Iraqi National). Key Responsibilities: - Lead the implementation of the company's HSE Management System. - Ensure compliance with client, regulatory, and company HSE requirements. - Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations. - Develop and monitor HSE KPIs and performance. - Provide HSE leadership, coaching, and support to operational teams. - Promote a proactive safety culture and follow correction for continuous improvement. - Follow the direction and guidance of the HSE Manager. Requirements: - NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent (required). - ISO 45001 Lead Auditor qualification or ISO internal Audit Training. - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering or equivalent. - Minimum 5–7 years of HSE experience in the oil & gas/oilfield services industry. - Knowledge of HSE Management Systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 – API Q2). - HSE Experience in well intervention, well testing, cementing, stimulation, wireline, or other oilfield operations. - Experience in preparing HSE documentation for tenders, including HSE Plans, Bridging Documents. - Proven experience in risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, inspections/self-verifications and HSE training. - Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and reporting skills. - Good command of written and spoken English. - Light Driving License.
