Treasury Accountant

We’re Hiring: Treasury Accountant Al Mutahida Company | Iraq Al Mutahida is seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Accountant to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will manage daily treasury transactions, monitor cash flow, and maintain accurate bank and cash records. Key Responsibilities • Monitor daily bank balances and cash positions to support operational funding requirements. • Prepare cash flow forecasts and identify upcoming funding needs. • Prepare bank transfers and payment instructions according to approved schedules and authorization limits. • Record treasury transactions and complete timely bank reconciliations. • Monitor incoming receipts and coordinate with Accounts Receivable on unidentified collections. • Coordinate with Accounts Payable to plan supplier payments. • Track loans, bank facilities, interest, bank charges, and repayment schedules. • Maintain records of letters of credit and bank guarantees, including expiry dates and related obligations. • Monitor foreign currency balances and prepare exchange transactions for approval. • Support month-end closing, treasury reporting, and internal and external audits. • Follow controls for banking access, payment approvals, and verification of beneficiary details. Qualifications And Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • At least 2 years of relevant treasury or accounting experience; manufacturing experience is preferred. • Good knowledge of cash flow management, banking transactions, and bank reconciliation. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems. • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. • High standards of integrity and confidentiality. • Good communication skills in Arabic and English.
