Cashier

Job description: Job Title: Cashier Company: SAS- Toyota Dealer Location: Sulaymaniyah, Iraq Overall Objective of the JobThe Cashier is responsible for receiving and disbursing money related to customer purchases and other financial transactions at the branch while ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and compliance with company policies and procedures. Tasks and Responsibilities • Enter funds received from customer purchases into the cash register and issue the appropriate voucher. • Accept cash, cheques, and bank cards for payment and complete transactions in accordance with established procedures. • Count money accurately, provide correct change, and issue receipts for all funds received. • Record all receipts and invoices and maintain accurate and updated records of payments and receipts for review by the supervisor. • Transfer money to the petty cash box in accordance with Sardar Group policies and procedures. • Maintain sufficient amounts of change in the cash drawer to support daily transactions. • Perform physical cash counts, reconcile the cash drawer against receipts, and document any discrepancies. • Deposit all cash generated by the company into the designated bank account on a daily basis in accordance with Sardar Group policies and procedures. • Ensure all financial transactions and supporting documents are properly maintained and handled. • Perform any other related tasks as requested by the Direct Supervisor. Job RequirementsEducational Level / Required Certificates: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance, or a Diploma in Accounting. Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
